Village Treasurer – Water/Sewer Clerk position available

OPEN POSITION
NASHVILLE VILLAGE TREASURER – WATER/SEWER CLERK
 
The Village of Nashville is taking applications for the part time position of Village Treasurer -Water/Sewer Clerk, starting pay is $20.97 per hour.
The treasurer must have clerical and bookkeeping skills, the ability to multi-task and problem solve, be detail oriented, highly organized and have excellent customer service experience.
Proficiency in computer skills, experience with Microsoft office and knowledge in BS&A software is a plus. An associate’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
A job description can be obtained at the Nashville Village Office or emailed to you upon request.

Public Notice – Spring Cleanup

Village of Nashville
SPRING CLEAN UP

The Village of Nashville’s spring cleanup will be on the following Mondays;

April 6th, April 13th, April 20th  and April 27th.

Please place brush and/or leaves you want picked up next to the curb. Spring cleanup is a service provided to help residents with yard clean up and should only consist of brush, weeds, leaves and normal yard waste. Please separate the brush and leaves, and limit the amount put out each Monday to one truckload to allow the DPW crew time to get to all residents in one day. If you have larger amounts please contact the Department of Public Works and arrangements can be made.

April 27th will be the last day for pickup.

If you put anything out after this date you will be asked to have it removed.

Public Hearing

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Village of Nashville
February 12th, 2026 7:00 PM

Location: Village Council Chambers/Village Hall

Purpose: Public input and discussion on the proposed budget for the 2026-2027 budget year.

The budget being discussed is based on the property tax mileage rate to be levied for the summer 2026 Village taxes.
The 2026-27 budget will be voted on during the regular Council Meeting to be held immediately after the Public Hearing.

If you wish to comment in writing, you must do so by February 11th, 2026 and turn into the Village of Nashville,

UPDATED -Public Notice – Putnam Park Temporarily Open!

11/24/2025
Although Putnam Park construction is not completely done,
the park is open to the public for sledding and winter activities.
Be advised the park will close completely again when construction picks back up in the spring.
Thank you for your patience during this time!

Putnam Park – CLOSED

 05/15/2025
Construction/renovation is beginning on Putnam Park!
As of May 16th 2025, Putnam Park is CLOSED for public use until further notice 
We estimate construction to last through summer and fall.
Another announcement will be made when the park is opened back up to the public.
We thank you for your patience during this time and we can not wait to share all the renovations with you!
