Purpose: Public input and discussion regarding residential waste removal contract within the Village of Nashville.

The Village has solicited for bids for a residential waste removal contract.
The current contract with Granger is set to expire on November 30th 2026.

If you wish to comment in writing, you must do so by October 7th, 2026 and turn into the Village of Nashville,

Public Notice – Street closure

Street closure to thru traffic

Beginning Monday, September 14th, State St and Queen St
will be getting a face-lift from Sherman St north. These streets will be closed to thru traffic during
construction. All street parking will not be permitted during this time.

The Nashville DPW will be picking up brush on

Sept. 21st, Sept. 28th, Oct. 5th Oct. 12th & Oct. 19th

Please have brush placed next to the curb.

Please do not place brush out after October 19th.

Please DO NOT put out leaves at this time as we will be picking up leaves starting October 26th.

Village of Nashville will be accepting sealed bids for a
2025 GMC Sierra 2500 HD SLE Diesel Pickup Truck
Minimum bid starts at $60,000.  Truck is sold as-is and is still in use. Mileage is 9900 but may vary based on use.
Sealed bids must be turned into the Village office at 203 N Main St Nashville MI 49073 by September 10th at 4pm.
Please mark the bid envelope with “2025 GMC Pickup”.

Village Treasurer – Water/Sewer Clerk position available

NASHVILLE VILLAGE TREASURER – WATER/SEWER CLERK
 
The Village of Nashville is taking applications for the part time position of Village Treasurer -Water/Sewer Clerk, starting pay is $20.97 per hour.
The treasurer must have clerical and bookkeeping skills, the ability to multi-task and problem solve, be detail oriented, highly organized and have excellent customer service experience.
Proficiency in computer skills, experience with Microsoft office and knowledge in BS&A software is a plus. An associate’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
