Putnam Park Improvements


Sealed Bids will be received by the Village of Nashville at the Village Offices located at 203 N. Main Street, Nashville, Michigan 49073 until 3:00 p.m. local time, Friday, February 24, 2017, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.


Items of work include construction of 14’ x 16’ restroom building and all related work.


Bidding Documents may be obtained from Fleis & VandenBrink Engineering Inc. during normal working hours Monday through Friday. Contact Rick Stout at 616.942.3606 or rstout@fveng.com. Bidding Documents are available electronically (as portable document format (PDF) files) for no charge.  Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Village of Nashville at no charge. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond by a recognized surety in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder's maximum Bid price in the name of Village of Nashville.


Davis-Bacon Federal Wage rates are not required.


Contractors performing work on the project must comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act) and 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), as amended.


The Village of Nashville reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Nashville.
